Kimberly Powers serves as the Marketing and Communications Manager for Yavapai Ballet Theatre, bringing a deep appreciation for ballet, storytelling, and community-centered production to the organization. Her journey into dance began seven years ago alongside her daughter’s ballet training, where she quickly developed a profound respect for the artistry, discipline, and strength required of ballet dancers.
Kimberly trained in ballet under the well-known Myrta George (“Mrs. G”) in Prescott. Her extensive behind-the-scenes experience includes serving as Production and Stage Manager for Prescott Youth Ballet, where she oversaw every aspect of production - from marketing and communications to costumes, sets, and stage operations. Among her most meaningful experiences was contributing to the annual Nutcracker, which united volunteers and dancers of all ages and experience levels.
Passionate about making big ideas possible, Kimberly believes that “everything is figure-out-able” when creativity and dedication lead the way. Through her work with YBT, she is committed to elevating local dancers, connecting them with audiences and sponsors, and helping establish The Nutcracker as a cherished Northern Arizona holiday tradition.
